One of my favorite things about being a female professional athlete is getting to act as a role model to young girls and meet them at tournaments. Being a role model to me means being authentic, not perfect, being strong and bold, unafraid to be real and shun societal expectations. Forget what anyone has taught you about what it means to be a girl, you do you, follow YOUR heart and gut, get dirty, put yourself out there, believe in yourself as you are on your own, and don't forget to have fun in the meantime. #GirlPower
