Let's take a moment to appreciate this mornings ensemble, RAVISHING, absolutely STUNNING!!??⚡️⚡️ Nah Seriously, I'd like to take a moment this morning and reflect on the MAN IN THE MIRROR, No, literally, the upper left corner. My Grandfather, Homer L. McCoy Sr. I remember very very vividly 3 years ago, It was a cold and wet November night at my Grandfathers Home Going Service. I remember seeing him looking so proud and peaceful, fully laced in his Masonic Uniform. (CUE THE ILLUMINATI COMMENTS) My grandfather was a Marshall in Masonic Prince Hall Brotherhood, and was A very respected man amongst his brother, peers and around His way in Far Rockaway. My grandfather was a tiny man but his presence was Andre the Giant HUGE. I remember visiting him and his beautiful wife Mary in Queens as a kid. He bought me all my favorite cereals lol but I'll never forget him sending us back Upstate on the Greyhound with Fried Chicken wrapped in tin foil. At his service, I giggled a little hearing similar Fried Chicken stories from tons of other familia members. The last time I saw my grandfather alive, we had lunch in Harlem with my Uncle Rob, I'm pretty sure my Grandpa showed up on his bike........FROM FAR ROCKAWAY. He was such a G like that, lol. Although my heart is heavy right now the more I reflect on this great great man, I am humbled and grateful , not only for the fact that this man's genetics run through my very own blood but for bringing together our family and introducing family members who otherwise may have never known of each others existence. Thank you Pop Pop, I will be smiling ALL DAY in your honor..... RIP ⚜️✝️Homer and Mary forever✝️⚜️
