"The high altitude plains of Changthang, Eastern Ladakh, are home to a nomadic tribe called the Changpas. They are a Tibetan tribe living as pastoralists, raising mainly yaks and pashmina goats. They stay in yak-hair tents called Doksas and do seasonal migrations between pastures. At the peak of winter, temperatures below -40 °C are not uncommon.
