A note and reminder to self that in scrolling through these glimpses of other people's lives, however each chooses to share, there is a real living and breathing soul on the other side of the screen. And while we are infinitely diverse in our individuality, we are not so different in our humanity. Each with hopes, dreams, fears, strengths, joys, disappointments, scrapes, leaps, insights and limitations. One click of a screen so swiftly connects us and yet that very click so swift to divide. The narratives we build of others based on tiny squares and rectangles yet lacking the experience in actually doing real life together. There is always more to a picture, there is always good to be found and grace needed by each of us. As Mr. Rogers once said, "There isn't anyone you couldn't love once you've heard their story."
