Happy Sunday! No need for makeup when you're this tan, right? (Aka I need to go buy a darker shade of foundation asap ?) On a totally opposite note, I read something awesome about motherhood today that really spoke to me and I wanna share it with any mommies or future mamas out there who might appreciate it too. ?? ----------------------------------------------------The normal path of motherhood is to try to be a supermommy, but God flips it around. He creates strength from weakness. He redeems the imperfect. Let’s stop calling our weakness failure. Let’s start seeing it through God’s perspective: part of the process in receiving His grace and living in His strength. Let's embrace imperfection as unsupermommies serving a superpowered God. When we release our expectations for motherhood, we have the opportunity to receive God's grace for the unexpected. Suddenly, we don't have to strive to be a supermommy, because God's endless superpower supplies all the energy we need for the unexpected challenges of motherhood. ❤
