The Worldcup in Villars was the reason I wanted to give Lead comps another shot. I must say, it was exactly as good as I hoped! A new style of routes has developed in the past few years, consisting of dynamic moves, volume slapping etc: fast and risky routes that are interesting to watch and climb. Although I climbed poorly in finals, I had loads of fun getting pumped, and seeing true boulderers mix with true endurance heroes.
