First time I went to a drive-in I drank a beer in the back seat of an Oldsmobile. The scent was upholstery, warm beer and cigarettes. The driver was the uncle of my best friend, Danny, who had scotch tape wrapped around his black glasses. The film was iconic: Bruce Lee's "Game of Death". Kareem Abdul-Jabbar left a footprint on Bruce Lee's chest and the beer I burdened through foamed over every time I took a sip. I had twizzlers that night too, and bon bons: vanilla. There wasn't much to do up there, out there: bunch of trees, some horses, and a broken down Suzuki RM 80.
