A newspaper clipping from the late 1800's talking about my Great Great Grandparents. See the last line where it says 'his wife is native American.'
For about 10 minutes I thought I had uncovered a piece of our family history completely unknown! I was part Native American?! Wow! ...then I realized it was just a little bit racist...I guess back then, 'native American' was another way to say Daughters of the Revolution. It was a pretty exciting 10 minutes...right up until the racist part...
