Wonderful to capture this lioness on one of our cameras supplied by #wildlifeprotectionsolutions. It was captured at 10am which is unusual for the wild lions to moving around the farm so freely. To preempt the comments that will come asking why the lioness has a collar, it's because the lions need continuous tracking in the reserve both for their protection and to monitor their movements for research purposes. I do wish technology would provide a less obtrusive and cumbersome solution but it does always revolve around battery life and signal strength and having said that the technology may exist but the costs prohibit it from being viable especially for use in this kind of field. Anyway was very glad to see this healthy lioness on her merry way. #savehabitat #savelions @wildlifeprotectionsolutions
