The vet that declawed this kitten in Michigan uses a scalpel to slice off the toe bones on kittens and cats and posts photos and appalling comments about this cat cruelty on their fb page. They charge $167 for a neuter/declaw and @purina 's Yesterday's News litter is included in that package. They tell cat owners on the phone that they like to do the declaw$ at 2-3 months of age so not to wait. They say the cat's paws will just be "sore for 5 days." ??? #lies This vet even wrote these words on her fb page about declawing. "It is not a barbaric or inhumane procedure when done correctly. I was taught how to do this procedure in veterinary school the CORRECT way, and have attended numerous continuing education seminars on how to effectively control pain and discomfort from this surgery." ?? 80% of veterinarians in America do this mutilating procedure to around 5000 cats a day and most deceive cat owners to believe that it is ok to do to their kitties when it is NOT!
