From the July 23, 1951 story "Fearless Fagan Goes Hollywood" - which was a follow-up to a previous story about the lion owned by Floyd Humeston. When Floyd was drafted, M-G-M producer Sidney Franklin Jr. brought him to Hollywood and made a movie in which the lion starred.
