@CassidyLichtman7, who was part of the U.S. Women's National Team from 2011-2015 after a standout career at @stanfordwvb and was an assistant coach at her alma mater last fall as the Cardinal won the NCAA title, is an assistant coach for Vision 15 Gold in the #GJNC 15 National Division this week in Minneapolis. Having played in the event for so many years herself, Cassidy says the experience coaching in the event brings back so many memories. "Club volleyball is such a great time. I loved that there are girls from all over the country and how many there are playing. This brings back memories of my teammates, coaches and even the refs. They are part of the reason that I am where I am today. This is where I came from." Cassidy believes the USAV Junior Nationals is more than about the wins, but what you get out of the experience. "I think the main thing club volleyball should be about is getting better and having fun. I think you don't play volleyball club to win medals. It is great if you do, but we are playing to improve our skills to get better and play at the highest levels possible. And while you do it, to make friends who will last forever." #humansofvb
