Rising R&B star Reginald Lamar Williams, Jr. didn’t envision himself making funky electronic music filled with smooth, soulful vocals.
Growing up in Florida, Williams attended an arts high school and picked up classical guitar. Taking the trade seriously, Williams headed to college with this musicianship in mind. However, the opportunity to explore a new sound with producers presented itself.
Williams, now a Nashville, TN transplant, makes urban music under his new name: R.LUM.R, which has since wooed and swooned millions of listeners worldwide.
