Designed by @rpbw_architects, the @centrobotin has opened in Santander, Spain. Covered in circular ceramic tiles the building is raised off the ground and split in half down the middle, opening up public space and views of the bay. As the sun sets, floor tiles light up the external stairways, balconies and terraces that cantilever over the sea, creating an experiential view of the bay landscape framed by aluminium structural supports that draw from industrial context of the coastline. #centrobotn #santander #renzopiano #architecture (?: @harriet_thorpe)
