this was my first hard-core matinee, and indeed my first time at CBGB's. 1987. I want with my friend Sybil. I remember the crowd shifting dramatically after underdog – all the hard-core kids took off, and there was a sudden infusion of suburban punk rockers. I stayed for all of it.
