Two years ago today, we opened our doors at @ドミニクアンセルベーカリー on a quiet street in #Omotesando in the heart of #Tokyo. Here's a look at the shop a few months before opening day, as it was still coming together. It was our very first shop outside of NYC, and we were all sorts of excited, nervous, scared, and anxious, wondering if people would come by to visit us. Sure enough, more than 700 people greeted us on that June morning, and in the past 2 years I've met amazing people from all over Japan and the world, and we've built an incredible, dedicated, hard-working Team #DABJapan who continue to push me to work harder and keep creating every day.
