This week's #AskCeci comes from @patricia_pesic and I open it up to all the working mommies out there who may have any tips to share on the topic.
Q: I admire you a lot and you inspire me. But how do you combine your work with your family? Especially because you have babies. How did you grow your business without neglecting your family?
A: Having a family AND a business requires a lot of extra hard work and dedication. But I knew my life wouldn't be complete if I didn't try to have a family too. So for me, before I even considered getting pregnant, my business had to be in good shape so I could pull off having a child and running my business at the same time. My company was nearly 8 years old when I had my first child. Plus, I had a great team in place to help when I was on maternity leave (thank you #TeamCeci ?). But that doesn't mean it's not a constant juggle and requires a lot of discipline on a daily basis. I consider my business my first baby and I must take care of them all. Never neglecting.
