June 17 is Queen Elizabeth II's official 91st birthday. Though the actual date of her birth is April 21, it has long been the tradition to celebrate the Sovereign's birthday publicly on a Saturday in June when good weather is more likely.⠀

The day will be marked by the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Horse Guards Parade in London, followed by an RAF Buckingham Palace flypast. ⠀
