"Having photographed many #owls in the last few years, I developed a vision for a gray morph screech owl in a tree with similarly colored and textured bark. Until this photograph, I had never quite found what I'd been dreaming of. That all changed on this late evening, when I stood in the woods after sunset with this owl. With direct eye contact and slow shutter speeds, I used mirror-lockup to carefully click away some frames. After the #owl left the cavity to hunt for the night, I tried to hold in my excitement as I walked back toward my car. Experiences like this one are not soon forgotten." #MyCanonStory
