Gotta say, I'm really stoked with how my teammate @AndreasBakkerud drove this past weekend at his home World RX event in Hell, Norway. He's one of the fastest & most talented rallycross drivers on the planet and he put together a great race.
Apparently some of the Norwegian press has been a bit harsh on him for his racecraft in the Semi (because he went to the Joker on the first lap - which he has the right to do so from pole position!), which is sort of disappointing, since he did exactly what he needed to do to put himself in front of a faster competitor. That’s racing and that was smart race craft!
One important thing to know about our race series this year: the race officials have been very quick to step in and administer penalties on overly rough/aggressive driving this season (as they should, we're there to have fun, be competitive AND be safe) and they had nothing to say to Andreas after that Semi race, which means he raced smartly and fairly out on the track.
So, public props to Andreas on a job well done this past weekend - keep up the great work! I am proud to have you as my teammate and representing me and all of my great sponsors. You deserved that podium! #midyearemployeereview #stillnotgonnaletyoudrivetheHoonicorn
