#waspworkout ??‍♀️ I run because i love it. Sometimes it's hard and sometimes i feel unmotivated to do it, but ultimately, at the end of the day, i do love to run. I suspect my body was made for it because i know people who just abhor running and when i watch them try, i abhor them running, too. I think that certain bodies are made for certain things. Some are made for running, some for swimming (i look like i'm being swarmed by bees when i try to front crawl), some for lifting, some for dancing, some for wrestling, some for rowing... That's not to say that if you love something that you weren't "made for" that you can't excel at it, but more to say that if your body wasn't made for something, and you absolutely hate it, then you'll probably always hate it, no matter how much you try to love it. Again, just my guess. So, my theory is, find the activity or activities you ❤️, and pursue that. If that's frisbee, or golf, or diving, or hockey, or polka, or parkour, or tai chi, or cycling, whatever it is, do that. If you've gained so much weight and lost so much muscle that you no longer know what activities you love because they all suck to you, try to think back to before you gained weight, and lost muscle, for clues to what might bring you pleasure as you get over the initial hump. I think a lot of us wrongly perceive being healthy and fit as requiring 1. some kind of gym and 2. running or "training", but I don't believe that's true. It is my belief that doing the activities you love, even when they're hard, and finding joy and satisfaction in them is the path to the healthiest you. I love to run, the added bonus is it helps me to feel and look my best. #running #health #fitness
