My girl @annacamillepdx and I hosted a local @plannedparenthood event for a couple dozen of our favorite women. All the proceeds went to advocacy in Oregon specifically. The conversations all night were so much more than birth control. They were about women's health, cancer screenings, having a baby and being able to go somewhere safe/non judgmental to ask the scary questions... If you share this passion, contact your local branch and host something yourself with your friends. Yes, we raised a little money, but mostly it was about energy and passion coming together for a collected purpose. ALSO! Local PDX bakery @sarahscookiespdx made us custom PP logo cookies for the event. I ate 3. Maybe 4. My passion for the frosted shortbread purpose was also high last night. #resistfearassistlove
