Today's talented cinematographer and #tbt is #AntonioCalvache. We worked together on #OliverSherman, a project near and dear, where I snapped these two pics. I had admired his work on "In the Bedroom" and "Little Children" so I was excited to meet him. He was patient with my persistent attempts at Spanish, and eschewed local olive oils (he was spoiled by the olives in his native Spain.) He is influenced by painters like "Velazquez, Goya, El Greco...I believe they live subconsciously in my work." #DP
