Tributes have been paid by teammates past and present this evening, after the tragic news was confirmed that Cheick Tiote has passed away, aged just 30.

The Ivorian international collapsed in training with his club team in China.
Cheick represented his country at two FIFA World Cups in 2010 and 2014, and was part of his country's African Cup of Nations winning squad in 2015.
Our sincere condolences go to the family, friends & teammates of Cheick on this very sad day, as well as to his many, many fans, across his former clubs.
