Hi my name is Sabrina and though I have never been apart of the Foster System, I did get some confidence from watching The Fosters. I can relate to Stef a little but because how she was raised within a religious family, I myself was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and was forced to hold back my feelings toward the same sex and had to hide my relationships because of my family and the beliefs but once The Fosters show started airing on television I began to find confidence within myself and it slowly helped me come out as part of the LGBTQ community. Despite all the criticism I received there was no better Joy then coming out as a Lesbian and now I am so much happier and I'm proud to say I am engaged to an amazing girl who I love more then anything.
