Woke up at 4am to read this new draft of #Skyscraper. Very strong and big hat tip to our writer/director @rawsonthurber for bringing the high quality heat.
As Hollywood insiders know (as well as many of you) this was the script that became an extremely hot property when it set off a bidding war last year with the studios. Winner of that bidding dance was Legendary and Universal Studios.
Think DIE HARD meets TOWERING INFERNO inside of the world's tallest skyscraper...
in CHINA.
Character prep begins now and we'll begin production in August after we wrap #Rampage.
Motivated to make a great one.
For the record, I keep my pen close when reading scripts because I like to make intellectualized notes, but in reality I just doodle and draw unicorns.
