I took this photo of @adognamedfox and I the day I met him at a #nkla @bestfriendsanimalsociety @bfas_la super adoption event 3 years ago. This coming weekend I have the privilege of attending The Best Friends Super Adoption in Los Angeles and ringing the adoption bell! (Every time an animal is adopted, a bell is symbolically rung. I cried when they rang the bell for Fox and I that fateful day 3 years ago.) The event is June 3-4 at Warner Ranch Park (I will be there Saturday the 3rd) and features shelters and rescue groups coming together in one place with one mission: to find homes for as many animal companions as possible.
