So so devastated here today thinking about these incredibly brave souls, Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche and Ricky John Best, who lost their lives standing up to a man spewing violence and hatred and bigotry. (And sending so much healing light to Micah David-Cole Fletcher, who was badly wounded.) I am in awe of the sacrifice they made. Send loving thoughts to their families and REMEMBER THEM. HONOR THEM. MOURN THEM. This is bravery and goodheartedness in its purist form, to stand in love and kindness and do the right thing by protecting one another in the face of such ugliness and and hate. The world is so much worse off without them in it and we will never forget their names. #Portland
