This is me crying after watching Wonder Woman. I cried multiple times during the movie and all through the Q&A. I'm not a comic book nerd, I don't like action movies all that much, and I'm not sure why I was invited, but I was so moved by this film. I never understood why anyone would stand in line to see anything or anyone at comic-con, but I get it now. I think I finally felt represented- not that I think I'm a hero, but the themes and morals of this story spoke to me and reminded me of what matters. Sure, it's still got a very heteronormative perspective of love and I got some notes, but I'm going to see this movie a few more times and I hope you do too because it's all I want to talk about. #wonderwoman
