Hanging out in Anchorage, Alaska, May 1991. ST Shaw is holding Mikey as we return to civilization after an expedition to the Kichatna Spires. We skied to the range, climbed Middle Triple in foul weather and skied back out with slim food. Seth Thomas was the best when the chips were down. May is heavy. The 21st was 25 years since Mugs moved on and the 25th is 17 years since ST left the physical. Alpine climbing intensifies life. We celebrate. Alpine climbing takes life.
