Sometimes I visit places and wonder if I will ever step foot there again. I have seen them, stood on that part of the Earth, heard this part of the Ocean, touched that snow just once. Only once and yet I can still feel it inside me. Because I know that somewhere in the cold, in the dark, without me, this place is existing. That ocean is crashing on those rocks, smoothing them, patiently polishing them, it has been long before me and it will continue to do so long after I am gone. But for a moment I was there. And whether I am ever there again, if my life brings me back. I know that I will never (could never) forget it.
