Hands up if you love turtles as much as we do! This #WorldTurtleDay we’re spreading the love for all species of turtles, great and small. As one of the earth’s most ancient creatures, these guys are a fundamental link in our marine ecosystems but sadly, their numbers in the wild are declining around the world. We’re so thankful for the team at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital for their efforts in protecting these incredible animals. With their expert care, turtles just like Candy the flatback turtle here can receive the help they need to return to life in the wild. ?
