As the fidget spinner craze takes on a life of its own, one mom wants to make sure people know about her daughter’s dangerous experience. 10-year-old Britton Joniec choked on a bearing from her spinner. Mom Kelly Rose Joniec was unable to dislodge it with the Heimlich maneuver, and doctors couldn’t tell where it was stuck until they took this X-ray. The bearing was then endoscopically removed. A spokeswoman from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission advises keeping anything that could fit through a toilet paper tube away from young children. (? courtesy the Joniec family)
