Found my favorite nook at the (locals' best kept secret) cafe that we stumbled upon some years back while exploring back roads near our oceanic haven. Their homemade cakes are still heavenly. And I love having no rushed schedule this week. To just scoot an extra chair and prop my feet up while I savor each bite and moment and journal at my leisure is sheer delight. I think one take away from this adventure is to make room for a day off or two at least once a month to have no schedule and just take the day as I please. In some ways it reminds me of the pace when I lived in the South Valley of Albuquerque, and in that slower pace time seemed to slow too and I got more done while still taking in the little moments. It puts things in perspective. Btw- thank you for all the cheer, encouraging messages and well wishes for our getaway. I feel so rich and lucky to be surrounded by many kindred spirits here - each kind comment left is truly a gift and I am humbled by your hearts. Thank you so much. You all rock the casbah. ?✨ -
