Q: Dear Ceci, do you paint the design on each wedding invitation or do you do it one time and it's printed on each piece?
A: I hand paint the design on watercolor paper (currently loving @legionpaper new watercolor line called Stonehenge Aqua) and once I put the finishing touches on it, the final art is scanned and brought into the computer and into our design layouts. After the artwork is signed off by our client and everything is perfect, then each invitation is printed and created by hand by our team of artisans.
Shown here is me presenting my original commissioned painting to my #CeciBride to get her approval. The smile on her face says it all! It's a very special moment for me when I get to see their reaction to my work. Maybe because it's such a personal project and the entire time I'm painting, I'm thinking of them and hoping they're going to love it as much as I do!
