[@bpatrickflynn] Today's Takeover Tuesday is all about keeping things light and airy. To counterbalance the dark cabinets in this downtown kitchen, I installed glossy white subway tiles from the countertops to the ceiling to reflect light all around, plus I updated the floors with light gray cork flooring to bounce light upwards, then clad the adjacent areas with 11-inch wide vertical shiplap painted ultra-white. When it comes to brightening, do you prefer a warmer approach using shades of cream or off-white, or go as bright as possible with architectural white?
