This week at #climbthehill I realized that climbing has reached a new era. Our sport has grown to the point where we have a voice. Our law makers are not only interested in climbing, many of them are climbers themselves. That means we can use our amazing sport to effect change in things like public lands and the environment. I could not have imagined 5 years ago that I would be sitting down with senators like @senbennetco discussing the issues that matter to us. Thanks to @accessfund and @americanalpine for scheduling the meetings pulling this event together. I encourage everyone to get involved, write letters and make their views known.
