Varenna on Lake Como is one of Mark Bauer's favourite locations and it's simple to see why from this image, taken with a Fujifilm GFX 50S. The waterside architecture is stunning and is best photographed towards the end of the day when the buildings are lit up by the setting sun, or during the blue hour just after sunset as Mark did here.
