We lost a good friend and really rad person yesterday: Chris “Big Black” Boykin. Chris started his career with his appearance in The DC Video as Rob Dyrdek’s skate-security guard, and went on to star in MTV’s Rob & Big. I really like this shot from the end of Gumball 3000 in 2005 with a rad group of people: Damon and Suzy Way, wifey and I, Rob Dyrdek, Chris, and Ruben Fleischer (director of Rob & Big, Fantasy Factory, Zombieland, etc.). Chris had a big heart, was a great dude, and will be greatly missed. #restinpeacebigman
