Hi friends, remember being 12? I sure do. Yes, the struggle was real. I battled self-consciousness, an awkward and ever changing body, retainers and headgear (god, I wish I had a photo of the headgear), freckles and frizzy hair. I spent hours with a blow dryer for this pic btw. And the dress.... well she speaks for herself.
Today I am proud to join the #DoveCanada Look How Far We've Come campaign in support of the work they’ve done in empowering young girls and women over the last ten years. Dove Canada is committed to fostering the development of positive self-esteem among women and girls through the Dove Self-Esteem Project – and ensuring a world free of beauty related anxiety.
