This has been perpetuated by the fact that when you search through pics on social media many that are tagged #BodyGoal etc show mainly white, slim, toned, cis-gendered, airbrushed bodies. However, instead of letting this continue what if we try to challenge this? Imagine if we began to tag ourselves / images / messages that actually celebrate our bodies for the fact they are our homes, that diversity is beautiful and that we are imperfectly perfect? The comments on my video suggest instead of avoid and ignore this, be part of the change and as well as using #BodyGoals also start a new movement potentially of #WEareBodyGoals or #IamBodyGoals and redefine what that means? So instead of in future seeing a group of images with that hashtag that are exclusionary & potentially triggering, we see that there is No one type of body goal and maybe challenge their perception of what that even means?! Because there really is so many more amazing aspects to our bodies than just it's physical appearance. I'd love for you to comment your opinion below when you've watched the vid, thank you to everyone who contributed in the comments on my channel I love reading them and learning from you all❤️✨💫 #everyBODYisbeautiful #noRetouching Wearing all @aerie #AerieReal」5月10日 18時05分 - iskra
