A: Finding clients is one of the hardest challenges for small businesses as it requires a good amount of consistent effort on top of your regular work to get yourself out there and hope to get noticed by the right people. Honestly, there is no secret magic trick that will work overnight (if there is, please tell ME!) from what I've learned, it takes a lot of time and diligence. It's up to you as the entrepreneur to constantly show the world what you've got. I believe it's not just one thing only - you must be present in all marketing areas - your social, your website, your marketing materials, your interviews, etc. All of those efforts need to be aligned and singing the same tune. If they're not, then you're presenting conflicting messages that can hurt your business. Social media, especially Instagram (love you all!) and Pinterest have been great tools. Also, doing interviews like this one I did for #Fox5 TV of course helps with exposure. The best advice I can say is to establish what your niche is and do everything you can to connect with like minded editors/people/brands that can help you align to find the right client. Networking is key. Do not give up and constantly work at. Always deliver outstanding results and the word of mouth will travel. Hope that helps!
