Behind the scenes: Every single habitat has a weatherproof room for all the kids (Big Prides have several rooms) with insulation material to protect the kids against cold and hot temperatures built only with the best materials. Also, each room has a small concrete patio that allows us to isolate the kids for cleaning, breeding (We don't breed so we separate the females when they are in heat), or to introduce a new member through the security of the fence preventing fights. Each room has a small window in every wall that allows us to monitor the kids inside. Also, all rooms are covered with a lot of hay to give the kids comfort when sleeping and the hay is replaced every 48 hours for new one and the floor and walls are scrubbed with water and chlorine to prevent diseases from spreading. Also, 99 percent of the doors open and close horizontally, replacing the dreaded "Guillotine Doors" that are always cutting the tails of Felines in zoos and Sanctuaries. The mistake is always made by a human so I decided to avoid it with these doors. We have around 45 construction workers every day (Except Sundays) building new habitats and giving maintenance to the old ones. This is where your donations go.
