SENIOR SUNDAY! Our friends at @susiesseniordogs want to share a story of best friendship: Chubby and Diamond are best friends. But they just can't catch a break. These two were surrendered to the shelter together when their former humans got divorced. And now they can't find anybody who wants to adopt them. These two sweeties may look physically different, but their hearts couldn't be more connected. Chubby is a 9 year old male dachshund and Diamond is an 11 year old female boxer mix.
Chubby and Diamond share the same kennel at the shelter and every day they look out with wagging tails at visitors, just hoping someone will choose to take them home! They are both very friendly, and despite their age, very bouncy and playful, too! Diamond can even been seen playing with toys, just like a little puppy. But unfortunately, it's hard to get noticed as an old dog at a shelter and when people learn their ages they walk away. Chubby and Diamond are an adorable duo who are worth every minute of your attention. They just need a second chance.
