I don't really know much about silver, although I've always known I preferred it to gold, but today I was invited by @georgjensen to watch one of their incredible Danish silversmiths,Tina Bentzen, give a demonstration, answer questions about her work, show us her own handmade hammer ( the pretty one shown here ) and see some of her beautiful finished pieces. It was so interesting!! ( you can see more about it in my Stories today ). It was an event which was part of @londoncraftweek which is happening all over London for the next few days, and tomorrow I'm visiting the @vamuseum for a #silverspeaks talk by the curator.
Having dropped out of my History of Design degree many years ago, this is such a brilliant way to try and catch up! ✨
