You walk,
Wings on your feet,
Feathers through your hair.
Details, I kept telling myself
It's the details that count.
The breeze on the face
The sound of the seagulls
The smell of the coffee
And the touch of the sand through the toes. A stranger looks you in the eyes
And knows.
Understands the waves you carry
The red beat, she knows...she can hear it.
All she had to do was, listen.
How is it possible a stranger can see me?
I'm telling you all she had to do...
was listen.
