Today as the climbing world, myself included, mourns the loss of our friend and hero @uelisteck it would be easy to call climbing to the top of a snowy mountain on the other side of the world a selfish pursuit.
But whenever I hear these words I like to remind those that are listening, how unselfish living a life 100% in pursuit of your passions can be. After all it's not the summits that make the climber, but how he or she lives their life back on level ground that really matters. By that important measure, Ueli, you were always enjoying a 'summit day' ??
