It's #WorldWishDay my journey as a wish granter started with this amazing and gifted young lady Nicole Muller. It was 2005 and Nicole's wish was to be a model for the day. I was honored to be her photographer and inadvertently had my wish granted too. A wish I didn't even know I wanted. Through her courage and compassion she redefined the true meaning of beauty for me and despite her tender age of 14 we became friends. I watched in admiration as she grew up to be a brilliant talented artist and I was lucky enough to purchase a piece of her art that hangs proudly in my living room. The photo shown here is of Nicky and I in my studio in Manhattan holding a photo from a collaboration of her art and my photography for her first NYC exhibition aged 21, it was a sell out! Tragically Nicole passed away shortly after this exhibit from a brain tumor. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and count my blessings to have known her. I have remained a Wish granter ever since and I implore everybody to get involved and volunteer however they can. www.wish.org #wish ???
