A year ago, @ジョン・ジョン・フローレンス took an interest in hydrodynamics into his own two hands. His mission: to build a boat. After developing a hull design through online research, he and longtime friends @konaj_ and @erik_knutson_ quickly got to work on the framing of a catamaran. They’re using lumber from the local hardware store, and repurposing an old sailboat mast they found in the bushes. Other North Shore mainstays, including Erik’s father, Kona’s father, @pyzelsurfboards, and Pete Johnson have stopped by to lend a hand — or tools — and weigh in on the project. The maiden voyage is set to hit the horizon sometime this fall.
