Our boy turned the big ONE yesterday! There are not enough words in the world to describe the love for this little guy. Out of everything I've ever done in this world, becoming a mother has equally been the BEST, yet most challenging thing. I've never slept so little, even with having an incredible sleeper! I've never worried so much, even though I like to consider myself to be an easy-going person. I've never had to turn down so many jobs, events, trips and outtings with friends, yet been completely okay with it. The most surprising of them all, I've never been one that dreamed of becoming a mother my entire life, never went gaga over babies and to be honest, never really LOVED children, but it's true what they say "it's different when it's your own!" The love is overwhelming. Sometimes TOO overwhelming, if that makes any sense at all. Can't wait to celebrate this beautiful boy on Saturday!
